The guys' main mission is to reach others for Christ. As they go about doing the things they love and the things that our God has gifted them to do, they will meet others with very similar passions for biking, climbing, seeking adventure, and more.
Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." God is real and a relational God. He is not far off, He is not some floating being. He made us and loves us so much that He actually sent His one son, Jesus, into this world. Jesus has never sinned because He is God's Son, so Jesus was the only one whose sacrifice could cover all of our wrongdoings. Our sins and mistakes separate us from God, so He made a way for us. Jesus died a horrible death out of pure love for us sinners. He is our Savior and Lord. God's Word -the Bible- holds the truth that we must cling to.
Ephesians 2:8 says "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." To be a Christian, we don't have to do anything but recognize that we have fallen short of God's great glory and then trust that Jesus' sacrifice is all that can cover us. We can try to do good works to get into Heaven, but those get us nowhere. God has offered this amazing and free gift to us- that through His Son Jesus, we may be saved from death. He is always with us. He loves us more than we could ever imagine, and we look forward to the day that we meet Him face to face. For now, we can talk to God and tell others about His incredible Gospel; the most important news they'll ever hear. We get to live for Him in every day, depending on Him because we are so imperfect and unworthy! He has rescued us and will continue drawing us to Himself because He loves us.
1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
